Reflection
Hey there, as you can see, this is my reflection blog, I want to talk about my journey through making this project.
So first of all I want to talk about the technology I had to learn to use. So of course I used my computer which is an Apple computer, to write my blogs, not all of my blogs were written on my home computer though, for one or two of my blogs I used the computers provided to us by the school. Although I was used to these computers I did have to learn how to use Blogger, I never heard of the website so it was something I Had to learn to use. Besides using the computers for the actual commercial I had to use my phone, and I had to download Capcut. I never used Capcut in my life, so that was a whole new experience to learn, I struggled many times when using the app, like how to crop a video or how to add in a song that wasn't available in the app, but in the end, I was able to figure it out and now I'm not so lost when using the app.
Moving on I want to talk about the process of putting the project together. In the beginning, I knew my structure was going to have 3 photos and either 3 or two videos, but I ended up with 3 photos and 2 videos. The second thing I was thinking about was what I wanted my video to represent, I was going to add many pictures of me growing up but I thought it was too basic so I made up my mind and decided to go with hobbies I did through my years till I found the one I stuck with. When I picked out my videos and pictures the process of putting them in Capcut wasn't so bad, but adding in the music was the tricky part, knowing I had to stop the music because I wanted one of my videos to have sounds but I figured it out when playing around with the settings. I would say that was the only problem I had when making the commercial besides picking out photos and videos.
Now, I won't say that my project was the best, I bet there are others that surpass mine, I am very sure of it. I do think there could have been some improvement. Something I will say is that if I had more experience with the app the commercial would have turned out better but for the first time doing something like this, it wasn't so bad. Now that I have said this I am sure my next project will turn out better because I already have some experience with Capcut, so now I am not so lost when editing the video. Something I also will do so my next project turns out better is paying attention to my time management. I won't lie, I did procrastinate a bit with making the video so I rushed some things but it turned out well in the end.
Well, this is the end of this project, thank you for joining me, and goodbye for now!
