Our Pitch

Our Pitch Blog

Pitch A: Three friends get a ride home, and one of the friends still waits. Who is the mysterious man who picks them up, and why would she get in?

Pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection. How will they escape this maze, what would be the consequences if they don't get out?

Discuss Pitch A: The reason I specifically would not choose this pitch is that all of the actors would be in the shots, so if we film shots like tracking, pan, and tilt shots, there would not be anyone behind the camera to film it. Not only that another problem would be that none of the members of the group have their driver's licence, so when one of the actors gets in the car and it speeds off, none of us can be behind the wheel to drive it.

Discuss Pitch B: On the other hand, I lean more toward pitch B because, in the whole movie, the maximum of actors that will be needed would be three, and because there are four people there is an extra person to film, and the mirror maze would not be hard to find since there are fairs around the area and in fairs, there are mirror mazes, so the setting for our movie will not be a problem to find or film.

Our final decision: Since the team cannot drive a car the best decision to go with is pitch B: Two friends get lost in a mirror maze but they see death in their reflection. How will they escape this maze, what would be the consequences if they don't get out?
